One of Yazd province's first anti-counterfeit building permits was unveiled

Alireza Naghavi, mayor of Meybod, told the provincial reporter of Young Journalists Club in Yazd that the first single-sheet building permit printed on anti-counterfeit paper was unveiled and issued in the presence of the elected representative of Taft and Meybod in the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

He said the permit's prominent features include the raised Narin Castle design, the municipality mark and text in the center of the document, a three-dimensional cypress tree design on the back, a visible color shift across the back of the sheet when the paper is rotated, and a Zilou motif at the lower right that becomes purple and stronger under sunlight or UV light before returning to normal when the light is removed.

Naghavi also referred to Meybod Municipality's leading role in intelligent urban-planning systems, explaining that the municipality followed up on the need for integrated urban planning from 2018, signed a contract, and launched the system in early 2019.

He added that the system has user and citizen access sections, allowing citizens to submit building-permit requests and follow their progress without visiting the municipality in person.

The mayor said the system includes millions of records for properties, land, and buildings in Meybod's service area and more than 108 uploaded layers, with the number expected to reach 150 layers covering items such as Article 5 decisions, Article 100 commission decisions, and citizen access to three-dimensional city imagery.
